Work Better. Together.
Hi, I'm Tyler.
I have this unshakeable belief that we can live in a world where employees truly enjoy their jobs, and managers have excellent teams who are not only high-performing, but also happy. After a chaotic last few years in the labor market, it's easy to wonder...is that really possible? I’ve spent the past decade honing my skills in management and team dynamics. After getting my degree in business management (thank you Taylor University), I moved back to my hometown of Rockford, Illinois to work in restaurant management, getting experience in different kinds of businesses so I could understand the unique needs of each one.
Soon after, I accepted an opportunity in a different field of work: Church Ministry. I spent 2 years leading the Young Adult ministry department until the COVID-19 pandemic hit and forced us as a church to reconsider our staff size and ministry focus. This change forced me into re-examining what I wanted my life and career to be about. During this time, I married my amazing wife and we bought our first home (which we now share with our adorable German Shepherd/Labrador mix named Wrigley.)
Just over a year after the transition out of ministry, I started my own consulting firm with the goal of finally doing what I have always wanted to do: empowering others to lead well. I consult with organizations of every shape and size to create a workplace culture that keeps employees around, develops incredible leaders, and keeps the profits heading in the right direction for years to come. I provide fractional HR services like recruiting, training, and performance reviews to make sure that the people you hire, stick around. I use my Enneagram and DISC personality test certifications to train teams about effective communication, and help them understand themselves and their coworkers. I also conduct workplace health assessments, provide individual employee development, and so much more! Ultimately, I work with you to craft a workplace culture to meet your needs.
After a lot of tough experiences with past workplaces, I finally love my job. I'm excited to make that the reality for you and your team as well.
